Alice In Chains

Formed in the late 1980s in Seattle. Part of the Grunge scene, having aspects of hard rock and metal in their style let them survive after the collapse of the Grunge movement in 1994. Vocalist Layne Staley passed away in 2002 ending the band. They reunited in 2009 with a new singer.
